Faceoff Challenge Hockey Tournament
The 21st Annual Faceoff Hockey Challenge, taking place May 15–17, 2026, is the South Metro Professional Firefighters Foundation’s largest fundraising event of the year — and a can’t-miss weekend of hockey, entertainment, and community impact.
Each year, teams from across the country and Canada, travel to Colorado to compete in this high-energy tournament, while fans enjoy a full lineup of off-ice experiences.
Event highlights include a silent auction, wine pull, live music, food and drinks, and a special Colorado NHL / Colorado Avalanche Alumni Association Exhibition Game that brings hockey legends to the ice for an unforgettable cause.
Proceeds from the Faceoff Hockey Challenge directly support first responders and their families during times of serious injury, illness, mental health crisis or loss of life. Whether you’re attending, sponsoring, or supporting our fundraising activities, your involvement plays a direct role in caring for those who serve our communities every day.
